In his new photo memoir, Nic Billington turns a lifetime of taunts into a powerful visual archive of identity and survival.
British musician, author, and fitness enthusiast Nic Billington released The Introverted Exhbitionist, a profoundly personal photo memoir comprising over 100 never‑before‑seen artistic self‑portraits captured over six years (2018‑24).
Growing up in South Africa, Nic endured persistent taunts about his voice and body, which later fuelled a battle with body dysmorphia. Today, the London-based artist and performer reclaims his image and narrative through this landmark project.
